  • Served 3-year term on Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) DC State Cottey College Committee. Responsible for: creating standardized scholarship application scoring tool; fundraising; awarding travel stipends for prospective students’ “C for Yourself Weekend;” and working with DC PEO President. 
  • Served two years (2008-2010) as Co-Chair and Chair of the Industry Networking Committee of the National Grants Management Assoc. Responsible for creating mission, goals, operating processes, annual operating plan, coordinating with organization leadership, and conducting strategic outreach.
  • Served two years (2007-2008) as a volunteer job mentor to adults at a live-in shelter. Provided guidance and editing for resumes, mock interviews, coaching for skill changes, and difficult work situations.
