Ms. Sivage, a Certified Government Financial Manager, is the founder of Altruist Management. She has been actively serving the public sector since 1997. The desire to bring smart, right-sized solutions to clients without the overhead and culture of corporate consulting sparked her decision to serve non-profit initiatives as an independent consultant. Ms. Sivage is committed to the public good, inclusive of helping organizations and businesses run their internal operations successfully.
Ms. Sivage has almost two decades of experience in pro-bono advocacy work, grants management, performance, compliance, internal controls, policy, organizational strategy, business process improvement, business rule development, training and technical assistance, event management, and much more. She has supported public service programs and individuals in the following industries: Transportation, Healthcare, Labor, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Food and Nutrition Services – USDA, Broadband USA – U.S. Dept. of Commerce, and non-emergency grant programs at FEMA.
Ms. Sivage received a 2001 Harry S. Truman Congressional Scholarship for her home state of Montana. This former foster child, who aged out of care, went on to earn a Master’s of Science degree in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics and Political Science (’05). She holds B.A.s in Public Management and Political Science from Lindenwood University (’01) and an A.A. from Cottey College (’00).
